6) Urs Fischer’s Culinary Studio

In December 2019, West Coast editor Mayer Rus traveled to artist Urs Fischer’s private Arcadia, situated in East L.A. Rus described the room seen above as a “giddy, polychromatic discipline of encaustic tiles that varieties the ground of his voluminous mad scientist-meets-gourmand kitchen.” The Swiss sculptor added, “Some rooms, just like the kitchen, you need to make you are feeling up and excited… Different rooms, like the lounge, you need to decrease your coronary heart charge.” On the bigger of the 2 tables pictured, chairs by Hans J. 7) Anne Hathaway’s Swiss Imaginative and prescient
