What Is a Draft Stopper or Draft Dodger?
I first realized what a draft dodger, door snake or draft stopper was after I was in school dwelling in an previous dormitory with very drafty home windows. My roommate and I used to roll towels right into a tube form and place them alongside the sill of the home windows. It wasn’t good, however it helped maintain the nippiness out of our room.

It was made with corduroy cloth and stuffed with rice. It was specifically made for one goal solely and that was to dam the hole between the underside of a door or window and the sill stopping chilly air from coming into a room and heat air from escaping.
