Pictures of the constructing present a rectilinear constructing wrapped in a glass envelope, coated with Sefar photo voltaic shading in components. Openings of extra translucent insulated glass will expose the timber construction beneath.

Its “monolithic” form is the results of sustainable design methods, in line with Diller Scofidio + Renfro (DS+R).

“The all-electric, fossil fuel-free design incorporates a monolithic massing to attenuate materials use and vitality loss,” stated the studio.

The constructing footprint will inhabit 10 per cent of its web site, with the remaining house devoted to future greenspace.
