13 initiatives have been shortlisted within the 2026 Western Structure Awards. The shortlisted initiatives have been chosen from entries within the awards programme of the Western Department of Te Kāhui Whaihanga New Zealand Institute of Architects.
The shortlist was compiled by a jury led by Craig Dalgleish of Dalgleish Architects and rounded out by Jono Murdoch (Ailtire Architects), Renee Woods (Renee Woods Architect) and lay juror Sandra Henderson (Sandra Henderson Pictures).
The winners can be introduced on Friday 29 Could.
