Hey guys! I'm not an architect or city planner however an armchair fanatic and I needed to share an concept I had for an condo advanced structure.
The concept is to create some outside, car-free public areas by arranging the buildings in order that they create 4 intersecting pedestrianized streets with a plaza within the heart and courtyards on every finish of the "streets".
The buildings can be combined use with retail and eating places on the the bottom ground with al fresco eating on the car-free streets, creating loads of locations inside a brief stroll for the residents.
One in all my issues was if the buildings on the middle would have a practical ground plan. Ideally they might have a restaurant oriented in the direction of the middle (just like the Geno's pic posted).
That is supposed to be just like the Culdesac improvement in Tempe for folks of all ages who need entry to a car-free or a minimum of a car-lite way of life.
In any case I'm curious to listen to your insights. Thanks!!
