From the Architect: “Tupin Home is positioned in a gated group within the Setor de Mansões Park Approach, about 12 miles from the middle of Brasília’s Plano Piloto. Set on a generously sized plot with native cerrado vegetation, the residence was designed in dialog with the pure setting and to maximise the mixing between indoor and out of doors areas. The mission is organized round a central courtyard that capabilities because the ‘yard’ of the home, connecting the social and personal areas and concentrating the leisure amenities with out cladding, to emphasise the fabric continuity and honesty of the development.

“Sections of the ground slabs have been designed to be semi-suspended in relation to the pure terrain, permitting the panorama to circulate beneath the construction and enabling the passage of small animals. This answer goals to dissolve the standard boundaries between home and backyard, creating an ‘natural’ relationship with the bottom. The position of the slabs defines elevated planes that observe the location’s refined degree variations, reinforcing a way of lightness and visible continuity.

“The construction rests on twelve essential pillars, mixed with perimeter post-tensioned beams and inside suspension parts. This method allows giant cantilevers and spacious social areas free from structural obstructions, whereas additionally decreasing direct contact with the bottom—enhancing the house’s thermal efficiency.
