The Halifax Central Library, opened in 2014, was designed by native architectural agency Fowler Bauld & Mitchell in partnership with Schmidt Hammer Lassen. The outside design resembles a stack of books (first picture by Riaz Oozeer), and the constructing covers 129,000 sq. ft, which incorporates its rooftop patio.
