This lakeside retreat is a good looking renovated classic bungalow by Peterssen Keller Structure, perched on a hill overlooking Lake Minnetonka, simply exterior of Minneapolis, Minnesota. An urban-dwelling household commissioned the architects to replace their lakeside get-away. What We Love About This DwellingÂ
This lakeside retreat presents an exquisite refresh, every thing from maximizing lake views to blurring the boundaries between indoors and out. Beginning with a quiet, impartial shell, the designers utilized a restricted palette of patterns and colours enlivened with splashes of wit and whimsy. They mixed classic Murano glass chandeliers with hefty industrial lighting fixtures and nautical accoutrements and customized furnishings. This included a flock of recent chairs lacquered in electrical yellow, three tables and one porch swing.Â

Mixing antiques from northern Minnesota with authentic up to date artwork and images and colourful rugs, the designers gave this home a singular, fashionable vibe.
