Australian projects recognised on 2026 World Architecture Festival Awards shortlist

A complete of 416 tasks have been shortlisted for the World Structure Pageant (WAF) Awards 2026 from a discipline of 630 entries. The shortlist contains 20 Australian tasks and three worldwide tasks by Australian architects.

In 2025, Australian tasks recognised as class winners included ARM Structure’s Munarra Centre for Regional Excellence, BVN’s Sirius Redevelopment, Central Station by Woods Bagot in collaboration with John McAslan and Companions and BVN’s Canberra Hospital Growth.
