At a peak of 87 metres (285 ft), it dominates the town of Mons, Belgium, which is itself constructed on a hill. This belfry, categorised in Belgium since 15 January 1936, belongs to the foremost cultural patrimony of Wallonia. It’s the just one in Belgium that’s constructed in Baroque type.
