Craft Victoria’s annual Recent! exhibition is now displaying, with seven graduates of up to date craft and design being showcased. On the exhibition opening on 6 February, with 5 prizes, together with the InteriorsAu Rising Maker Prize have been introduced.
This system, which started in 1993, celebrates current Victorian graduates working throughout textiles, cceramics, glass, steel and different mediums. The graduates are chosen by a panel and culminates of their work being proven at Craft Victoria’s Melbourne gallery.
This yr, seven graduates have been chosen:
Yueyun Chen – textiles
Lucinda Johnson-Cornes (Pitjantjatjara) – textiles
Afra Kullu – ceramics, glass
Qianxun Li – steel, paper
Dee Robinson – steel, portray
Indigo Stuart – textiles
Lachlan Vasic – steel
