Chilly nights want heat drinks; the sort you possibly can linger over. Olivia Rae James has been warming up her nights with a boozy, citrusy tackle mulled cider. Spiked with purple wine, this mulled cider will get a mixture of candy and spice from the addition of grapefruit, apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Mulled Apple Cider
Serves 6
Substances:
3 cups fresh-squeezed apple juice 2 cups dry purple wine 1 grapefruit, thinly sliced (will be substituted to your citrus of alternative) 1 apple, thinly sliced Cinnamon (entire and floor) Nutmeg (entire and floor) Cloves (entire and floor)
Directions:
Mix apple juice and purple wine in a pot over low to medium warmth. Add sliced grapefruit, apple, and a handful of cinnamon sticks, cloves and nutmeg, in accordance with style. Let simmer for at the very least ten minutes. Add floor cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves (if mandatory, to style). Serve heat.
