I am looking for traditional Japanese style Meiji era Civic buildings like railway stations, museums, theatres, government buildings or public baths.

To be particular I don't need buildings with Classical type partitions and Japanese type roofs – they have to be Japanese solely eclecticism.

I’m desirous about how architects in Japan in the course of the industrial revolution could have adopted structure beforehand reserved for temples and the higher class and used it in public buildings, however it’s troublesome to search out examples, existent or demolished!

Pictured are the inside of Taisha Station and the outside of Dogo Onsen Honkan

European equivalents could be, for instance, Neo-Gothic or Scots Baronial, the seed of which was used for church buildings or fortified properties however have been later utilized to giant scale city halls and railway stations.
