Positioned at Hohenzollernplatz in Berlin-Wilmersdorf, the Evangelische Kirche am Hohenzollernplatz exemplifies North German Brick Expressionism. Designed by Ossip Klarwein within the workplace of Fritz Höger and constructed between 1930 and 1934.
The church is understood for its darkish clinker brick, fortress-like exterior, incomes it the nickname “Energy Plant of God.” Behind its large defensive façade lies a vivid stained-glass home windows that transforms the area with mild.
