The Little Checked Side Table

The checks that subtly seem all through the Bains Gardians Resort are a reference to the saddle cloths of France’s Camargue: see A French Nation Retreat that Celebrates White Horses and “Aware Hedonism.

We particularly coveted a pair of small, eminently helpful black and white tables within the bar, and assumed that, like many of the furnishings, they have been both classic or the work of native artisans.

Then the lodge’s designers, Samantha Hauvette and Lucas Madani of Hauvette & Madani in Paris, unveiled their newest furnishings assortment and it incorporates a related facet desk of handmade marquetry. It was time to check out each variations.

The Sighting

The Supply

It’s referred to as The Chess Aspect Desk—sure, you may play chess on it. And the excellent news is it’s nonetheless in manufacturing.
