LA-based Manola Studio has renovated a Forties motel to create a boutique lodge near the north entrance to Joshua Tree Nationwide Park.
The 12-room, adults-only Resort Wren sits on the outskirts of Twentynine Palms, a small city in California’s Excessive Desert that acts as a gateway into the park.
Manola Studio reworked the historic roadside lodge into a up to date boutique property, whereas retaining the format and highlighting the architectural character.
