Dezeen Debate features "whimsical and tectonically rigorous" mushroom-like pavilion

Architectural designer Mizzi Studio has created a pavilion at London’s Kew Gardens that includes a translucent flax roof. The Carbon Backyard Pavilion was designed as a “bodily extension” of the panorama and meant to emulate a residing organism.

Commenters admired the “cute pavilion”, with one saying “we’d like extra backyard follies and we like mushrooms”. One other agreed, calling it “whimsical and tectonically rigorous on the similar time – fairly an accomplishment”.
