Welcome to our new sequence, the place every month the Remodelista and Gardenista editors share an inside have a look at what we’ve been studying, watching, coveting, pinning, visiting, and in any other case loving currently. Forward, what we’ve been as much as in September:

“A few weeks ago, I visited the second ever Collectible design fair in New York City. Highlights included Of The Cloth’s lighting collaboration with Kawabi (shown) and Studio Solenne’s rug collaboration with NuStory.” – Morgan

“I was fortunate to catch the Ruth Asawa retrospective at SFMOMA in its final days this September, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Until this show, I knew little of Asawa’s personal life—she had six children—nor the depth of her dedication to art while balancing family. In the 1980s, for example, she molded beads from discarded clay used in mask-making. Then her son Paul would then pit-fire the beads at San Francisco’s Ocean Beach, after which she strung them into necklaces. Not only did I admire the necklaces themselves, but also the way they embodied her seamless integration of art and life.” – Alexa
