ZAV Architects, a Tehran-based agency, designed these 200 colourful earth domes on Iran's Hormuz Island utilizing superadobe, an earthbag building method initially developed by Iranian-American architect Nader Khalili. Constructed for below one million {dollars}, 50 native fishermen have been skilled from scratch to assemble it.
