A decade or so in the past, when Niels Strøyer Christophersen based his celebrated Copenhagen design agency, Frama, he used his dwelling quarters in a restored 1905 watchmaker’s store as a showcase for his studio’s work. Extolling pure, unpretentious supplies, ease of use, and reverence for the outdated, Christophersen went on to created refreshingly easy components for the house, together with his personal kitchen out of components discovered on the road. It served as a mannequin for Frama’s preliminary kitchens composed of freestanding, wood-framed parts.
“The primary Frama kitchen was based mostly on rules refined to their most important,” explains the corporate. “The goal was to have a good time the necessities of cooking and being.” Frama has now taken its kitchen choices to the next-level: collaborating with Swedish cabinetmaker Kvänum, a century-old kitchen maker and provider to the Swedish royal court docket, it has simply launched Frama Modules by Kvänum, a line of kitchen parts in two wood frames.
