The Metropolis of Moreton Bay has awarded a young to the Comiskey Group to ship a $180 million, 5-star resort precinct – which they describe as a “mini-James Avenue” – 35 kilometres north of Brisbane in North Lakes.
Designed by Brisbane structure apply Bureau Proberts, the proposal includes a 130 room-hotel, and a “high-end” retail and eating precinct. In keeping with a media launch from the Metropolis of Moreton Bay, it captures qualities of the award-winning Calile Resort in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, designed by Richards and Spence.
Mayor Peter Flannery mentioned the undertaking’s imaginative and prescient captures the council’s ambition to develop a powerful customer financial system forward of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Video games.
“We put the decision out in August final 12 months for an iconic proposal that may elevate [the] Metropolis of Moreton Bay on the tourism map. Comiskey Group’s imaginative and prescient ticks each field with a world‑class design from architects Bureau Proberts, high quality eating and real group profit and critical financial horsepower for our metropolis as we head into 2032,” he mentioned.

Detailed design and approvals for the precinct are anticipated to progress this 12 months, with building scheduled to start in 2026.
