Hello,
Simply chasing some opinions on some designs my draftsman has carried out up for a small rear storage extension to behave as a little bit of a workshop.
He has the roof sloping to the property boundary, and though it’s only at 2 levels over 3.6m that can be roughly a 130mm distinction in peak between the home facet of the roof and boundary facet of the roof. I used to be involved this may increasingly look a little bit misplaced with three totally different roof traces seen all at totally different pitches, these being the prevailing storage gable, the roof over the bay window, and the brand new extension roof.
I can ask him to alter the design so it slopes 2 levels in the direction of the rear of the property and is degree from proper to left.
I could also be overthinking this for a easy and comparatively small extension, however I simply don’t need it to seem like a cheesy, ramshackle add on, which I’m frightened it’d with it sloping in the direction of the property boundary.
What do you guys suppose?
