Wanting additional afield, to Lutyens’ homeland, she set her sights on London and New York-based designer Bryan O’Sullivan (who revamped the enduring Claridge’s restaurant in Mayfair, in addition to the brand new Westmoreland Café on the Frick Assortment), and despatched him a message on Instagram. “Do you ever do initiatives within the US?” she requested, adopted shortly by, “Are you going to be in New York anytime quickly?” Because it occurred, O’Sullivan and his husband have been due within the metropolis simply days later.
“We hit it off right away,” says the Irish designer. “As soon as we went to see the challenge, we have been blown away by Kligerman’s drawings and by the location itself. It feels such as you’re on this expansive countryside.”
